The market just closed. NVIDIA reported its earnings: another blowout. The market is relieved. We can breathe! Seasons are turning, days are shorter, and Thanksgiving is upon us.

Last weekend I played Bach’s concerto in D minor with my piano teacher. If you’re interested here’s the video. It’s been fun to work on this Bach piece: very different from other Bach pieces I’ve played. It doesn’t feel as much of a labyrinth as the Well-Tempered-Klavier, but it definitely has that treacherous terrain feel that Bach conveys for the performer.

After Burning Man, I’ve been to Mexico twice. It’s been great to be back. Some of my work travel is in pause (those chips ha insatiable appetites!) Last time in Mexico I had the chance of spend a lot of time reconnecting with friends from high-school. It’s warming to go back to those physical and emotional places of the past.

Next, we’re headed to the East Coast for a little tour visiting friends and family. My parents will be coming over and we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with them and my uncle’s family.

December is fast approaching and I am looking forward to my first ski trip in less than a month from now.

In the meantime, I’ll try to continue studying the concerto’s two other movements and hopefully play them in a couple of months. We’ll see.
