I mostly spent the time in Palm springs, our parents came over. Just just left. It was good to spend hope sometime together: cooking, hiking, just enjoying the day today
I am on a small European tour. Traveling for work to London and Munich. I made a small stop at Hamburg to visit a grad school friend.
I have been many times to Hamburg, perhaps my favorite European city. This time, it was covered in snow, and it was a truly beautiful winter sight. One of my favorite European dishes is Matjes: pickeld herrings. In Hamburg, they have some of the best. And of course I could not not get one.
As I was about to land in London, I unfortunately did not see as much snow. In London I would also stay with friends, and fly fly the day after landing to Munich where I will stay for a couple of days before heading to Zurich.
Munich had a bit of snow and I had fun trying the different delicatessen on offer at the train station. Zurich welcomed me with a huge snow storm. I had never seen the city so full of white.
This year is looking to be full of exciting adventures with many friends turning and organizing bacchanals of sorts to commemorate the occasion. Hope y’all are having a great start of the year!
